Treatment Plant
Summitville Mine was taken over by the
government under a Superfund Emergency
Response to protect waterways from leaching
acidic water. Moltz Construction built a new,
efficient plant that has the capacity to treat
1,600 gallons per minute.

Glenwood Springs Regional
Wastewater Treatment Facility

Glenwood Springs, Colorado

This $22 million project consists of the construction of a 2.34 MGD wastewater treatment facility and associated lift station. The facility includes multiple buildings, two 55' diameter secondary clarifiers, and two 1.46 million gallon oxidation ditches.
